Anne Boleyn

Dylan Nirvana & The Bad Flowers

"Morrissey meets Motörhead" - The Village Voice

In 1974, New York Dolls clothing designer Vivienne Westwood saw the Neon Boys and returned to London to create stagewear for the band the Sex Pistols. The Neon Boys which included Tom Verlaine, Richard Hell & Billy Ficca, reformed as Television the first band to perform legendary CBGB in New York. What followed was the Talking Heads, Blondie, the Clash, the Ramones - history, basically. Studio 54 meanwhile, was the melting pot of the inebriated and celebrity alike. 1984 - well, that was what George Orwell portrayed as the end of the world as we know it!

Dylan Nirvana, "Morrissey meets Motörhead" - according to the Village Voice, was one of the last artists to take the stage of CBGB before it closed in 2006. He performed Knitting Factory, Mercury, Luna & B Max Festival in London, etc. His band the Bad Flowers includes Billy Ficca from the Neon Boys, Television & the Waitresses - remember I Know What Boys Like? "Sometimes I have to pinch myself, having a rock legend in my band, " Dylan sips his wine. "Billy Ficca is still the most amazing drummer in New York City."

The sound of the new record Anne Boleyn? Literary Glam. It's a story of post-mortum visitations from the Beheaded Queen to her frightened almoner Lord Grey. Mega Model Caitlin Lyon plays Anne Boleyn in the music video Ganymede. The song "Automatic" is playing now on college & commercial radio (including WFCF 88.5 Flagler College Radio). Both the first record Pentagonal Flower & Anne Boleyn are available in stores & on Apple iTunes.

Working with New York actress/caberet performer Amelia Danger (AKA "55"), Dylan has produced two New York dance parties running since 2005: S.N.U.G. a Brit-Pop Punk party with DJ's, go-go girls, live bands and Petit Mort spinning Glam Rock, Brick Shit-house & Studio 54 with cult film, go-go & Burlesque performance.

Their newest dance party and performance showcase RADIO HOT ELF spins music from 1974-1984 London / New York with featured guests & live performance. Actors, dancers, DJs, bands & cult films. Thursday Nights at THE NEST in St. Augustine. The parties play the influences of the Bad Flowers. A guilty pleasure of Britpop Glam Punk New Wave Rawk Freakbeat & Studio 54.
